During the past two decades, Tony has been a constant fixture within the education community and is well versed in their technology needs and processes. Many of Tony’s current customers have been with him through this time. Tony has vast experience with federal, state and local procurement contracts such as 1GPA, Mohave and TCPN. Tony’s technology background comes from his service in the United States Marine Corps where he served as a technologist from 1989-1995.

Diana Loo, a sales and service professional, is the Logistics Manager / Inside Sales Executive for NeedThese. Diana has been part of the high-tech industry since 1995. Diana is meticulous when working with customers and understands the importance of clear communication to make sure the relationship prospers. Diana has extensive experience with federal, state and local procurement contracts that customers use on a daily basis. This helps cultivate a positive rapport with customers. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities and continuing our journey of growing our business vision of improving the quality of education one classroom at a time.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of the NeedThese consultative and strategic selling process

• Action-orientated results-driven approach - complemented by an engaging, professional presence

• Clearly articulate the company’s values and identify pain points for customers and prospects to provide the proper solution

• Ability to listen to client’s needs / goals and match an appropriate NeedThese offering

• Staying well informed about current industry trends and being able to talk intelligently about the education field in the K-12 market

• Drive the full sales life-cycle [including prospecting, lead generation, contact, presentation, relationship building, negotiating, proposal writing, closing and account management]

• Ability to close sales in complex sales cycles

• Create and execute an effective sales plan focusing on generating net-new business

• Set face-to-face meetings with business leaders and key decision makers and influencers

• Making prospecting part of the regular routine, ensuring that prospects are being added to the pipeline on a constant basis

• Develop, maintain, and grow ongoing sales pipeline

• Action-oriented approach with demonstrated history of achieving/exceeding sales quotas

• Effectively use the CRM automation tool to enter all sales information into the system

• Schedule and attend sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows (including after-hours)

• Maintain strong cross-functional collaboration skills with peers and colleagues to implement a market development plan for the designated territory

• The ability to take on additional responsibilities and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must have K-12 Sales experience

• Ideally 3+ years of technology hardware, software or solution sales experience

• A proven track record of consistently achieving sales quotas selling into the K-12 Education market is highly desirable

• Outstanding innovative and out-of-the-box thinking to achieve objectives highly valued

• Formal understanding of and experience with solution / consultative selling is desirable

• Familiarity with sales and purchasing cycles as they relate to school district, Title 1, and other federal funding guidelines will present a strong advantage

• Knowledge of various consortium contracts and how to position/sell them will also present a strong advantage

• Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills, with proven telephone and customer-facing expertise

• A strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM products

• The ability to travel as required with reliable transportation (to maximize business opportunities)

Under the direction of the Professional Development Director. The Technology Integration Specialist (TIS) promotes the use of technologies to support student achievement in the pre K-12 classroom. The Technology Integration Specialist provides leadership, staff development, and instructional support to all instructional and administrative staff. In addition, the Technology Integration Specialist serves as a liaison between the school/district and NeedThese. The TIS also assists in the limited development and implementation of curriculum specifically in conjunction with technology integration projects. The Technology Integration Specialist provides instructional staff with the essential support needed to complete technology-based instructional management and productivity functions. The Technology Integration Specialist collaborates with appropriate instructional and technical staff to support, manage, optimize the use of instructional software, and network resources to support quality teaching and learning. This skilled professional works independently and collaboratively with colleagues.
